  • Line drawing of three pieces of luggage and a box labeled 'Clothes to Sell' on a black background.

Step 2: PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.

Select your best pieces to consign.

Make sure they are freshly washed, and have no visible and functional defects.

Hot tip! Pre-curate and count your items you’d like to consign with us before booking in.

  • Hand-drawn clock, calendar date for Wednesday the 3rd, a pair of pink shoes, a pencil, and handwritten notes reading 'Dear future owner'.

Step 3: YOUR APPOINTMENT IN STORE

We will curate and select which pieces will be consigned.

You will open an account with us to track your pieces, and receive a receipt for the pieces taken.

Cards will also be provided for you to write notes for your items if you’d like.

Any pieces we do not take will be returned to you, or you can opt to donate them.

  • Clothing store display with a yellow shirt on a hanger, a pink heart-shaped object, and folded clothes on shelves.

Step 4: YOUR CONSIGNMENT WITH US

You will receive an email that lists all your pieces on consignment with us, as well as the prices we have set.

Your pieces will sell in-store for 8 weeks. Each time an item sells, you will be notified via e-mail.

You receive 20-50% of earnings from each sale, depending on the sale price and build up a balance in your account with us.

At the end of your 8-week cycle, we transfer your earnings to you via Bank Transfer.

If you have opted to collect your unsold items, you must collect them by the allocated deadline, otherwise they become property of the store.

Goood to Know

We always get asked what we look for during curation, and while there’s no straightforward answer, there are a few factors we take into consideration:

  • We know, style is subjective! That’s why our curation reflects buying behaviours we’ve observed in our customers.

Here’s what tends to do well in store:

    • Natural fibres: cotton, linen, silk

    • Wide-legged bottoms & maxi skirts

    • Dramatic sleeves – puffy, flared, balloon

    • Textured garments – pleats, patchwork, embroidered

    • Versatile Blouses / Tops

    • Local brands, designers & textiles (Batik)

    • 90s / Vintage Styles

    • Rare / limited edition items

    • Graphic tees/tanks (with interesting designs!)

Ask yourself: Would I buy this piece?

  • Malaysian festivities throughout the year may influence demand for certain pieces. Plan strategically for your appointment!

Eg: Cheongsams sell better in the lead up to Chinese New Year.

  • These often do not pass our curation due to lack of demand from buyers:

    • Skinny jeans & drop crotch pants

    • Plain office pencil skirts / Skater skirts

    • Peplum dresses & bandage dresses

    • Shoes with signs of wear

    • Leggings / Sweatpants

    • Rompers / playsuits

Of course, there are exceptions to this, and we might consider taking the above if they are of great quality or have a unique touch!
